Overview

Shilpa Sharma is a visionary leader and a strategic decision-maker who brings her vast experience of working in public and private sectors to solving problems that face businesses. She has over 14 years of experience working with various global organizations on strategic planning initiatives by harnessing the power of big data analytics and digital technologies.


Shilpa started her career at a hedge-fund trade floor, working with big data even before it was called that. She helped traders generate profits by providing insights on option volatility in natural gas markets. She then moved to the retail strategy department of a utility company, where she helped Senior Executives make business decisions based on machine learning models that predict customer behavior. Currently, as the Vice President of Analytics and Operations at Trillium Advisory Group Ltd. she is leading the automation and digitalization of analytics on global projects.

 

Shilpa is truly passionate about predictive analytics, telling stories with numbers, and helping companies make data-based decisions for revenue maximization and performance optimization. She regularly speaks at the Construction Industry Institute (CII) events and conferences on the importance of adoption and integration of cutting-edge technologies in construction, the power of big data analytics, and how machine learning tools can help generate actionable insights. Shilpa has a Fulbright scholarship and holds a master’s degree in international economics from the George Washington University in Washington D.C.
